Hepatitis Transmission

If someone who has Hepatitis of any kind was bleeding ( a small cut on his hand ), and his blood did get onto the tip of the pen which was stabbed on me (by accident), can this transmit Hepatitis? Although the amount of blood is minute?

We can't give you any more answers, you need to ask a doctor for a hep C test.  go to urgent care or a walk in clinic if you need to.  A doctor doesn't care, they see this every day all day long, it's old news to them.

I am kind of scared to go get checked/talk to people about it.

I don't have a doctor, is Hepatitis C and B still transmissible if the instrument or in this case pen was washed with water, hand sanitizer and soap together?

What you should do is deal with your anxiety and forget about ifs.

There are no absolutes in life.
Either get tested or forget it.
Good day.

you increase your chances of getting it IF the blood is contaminated with hep C AND it got into your blood stream.  Nothing is for sure until you get tested.

The only sure fire way to tell if you have it is to get tested as orphanedhawk suggested.

alright, orphanedhawk is there any risk though with this type of "mode" and what would be the chances for instance if he did have Hepatitis C would I get it for sure with this incident? I am really confused on what I should do, should I do a test?

As always, though, whenever anyone is worried about having a virus, the best thing to ease their minds is to get checked.

However, I looked at your profile where you've posted 45 times since May to the HIV forum and hepatitis forums about anxiety ridden fears of getting these viruses.

My suggestion is you get to the root of your problem~ your anxiety or obsessive compulsive disorder.

Please seek medical help for your anxiety.
