Yes if there isn't information or a whole lot of people who agree do not believe one persons particular opinion - you can get hurt that way big time (I made that mistake once).  Generally you can go with the consensus of the old timers as a group but ALWAYS double check things out for YOURSELF and ALWAYS check that up with your doctor.   If you are certain your doctor is wrong then get a second opinion.

I too hope you have figured out the respond (Post Comment) button below on the right hand side - makes it much easier when we can see it all in one place otherwise there are too many new members and information to remember. We'd have to study all day and night long. ;)

We do exchange information but it isn't always in relationship to what may relate to you or to others for that matter.  Many of us provide peer reviewed studies to back our posts and you may run into comments that are based solely on opinion or the perception of what someone thinks the poster meant.  Don't confuse the two.

That will keep comments related to the original question and subsequent comments in the place (thread), like a chat or conversation.

Good to have you here. Welcome!

Mike, next time you have a question or want to add comments to an existing one, go towards the bottom of the page and click on the green ‘post comment’ button; this opens a window and lets you respond there, rather than opening a new thread each time.

Try it with this one here; just go towards the bottom, and click on the green ‘post comment’ button, and let us know you figured this out, okay?

Welcome to the forum, by the way—

Yes, of course, tha'ts what its here for.
I enjoy this website too, have learned a lot and made friends here.

You have posted 5 questions in a one hour time frame.
Have you tried finding any of the answers prior to posting?
People will get annoyed and stop responding to you or do so in a negative way if you don't get a hold of yourself.
Many people here are on treatment which tends to make for frayed nerves.

This isn't facebook. Its a place where many people whose lives are affected by HCV come to share their experiences, some of us are seriously ill or temporarily crazy due to side effects.
Please consider which questions need asking, and when you can participate in someone else's post.
