So Lynn

Good luck on Monday! I'll be thinking of you when I am saying hello to all the blood letters at the lab

I am having the whole shebang Monday too. VL and liver function. Then the final labs the day after treatment ends 2 weeks later

I'm beginning to look a little like a junkie as I have this Great vein in my left arm that all the phlebotomists love. Well, me too cuz it's an easy stick but labs every 2 weeks will give you some toughening and scarring

Still, wishing only the best news for everyone to achieve SVR this time.

Maybe we will inspire Susan to try again. But believe me, Susan, I know just how devastating a relapse feels

It's all the same work and struggle as those who achieved SVR but with a much sadder outcome and you and Lynn have tried so many times, I feel like a novice

Not this time baby. This time we got it!!

hi Lynn, ( and Susan too!)
Congrats Lynn on powering through!  I am finishing week 11 of 24 tomorrow of the same regime.  I know you, Susan, Sandi and I all went through this rodeo together last year and are still fighting the fight!

I want you to know that I know how you feel as far as SVR.  I haven't posted much this time that although my hope to cure is as strong as ever, I can't feel 100% confident.  My wish for you, and the rest of us is; first and foremost SVR 24, sustaining courage, strength and hope in our war against the monster dragon eating away at our livers!

Hi Susan

I have had cirrhosis for 7.5 years now so I don't have the option to retreat and let my wounds heal. I have to continue the charge up the hill sword drawn and cannons blazing.

Same with me on the liver functions I had them drawn at week 12 post along with the viral load. The LFT came back first of course and the were above normal again while they had been in normal range while treating. I was hoping it didn't mean anything but it did seem to me to be a possible indication I had relapsed. Which was confirmed when I got my viral load back a few days later.

Just getting a viral load this time but thinking asking about throwing in a LFT just for good measure even if I have to pay for it what the heck those are cheep.

Think I will be doing a "Victory" Dance in the next few weeks as it is unimaginable that there will be any other outcome.  I'm with Susan all the
way that the fighter always takes home the Grand Prize.

First off, let me say, YAHOO, WAHOO, Yippee!  I remember last summer when I was on the treatment with Sovaldi + SOC and you were there, treating right along with me.  Then, we both thought, as we should, that since we had been undetected, that we were SVR.  When it turned out that we relapsed.., you amazed me how you jumped right back in on the Harvoni.  What a trouper you are!  I think this time you will indeed SVR.  You didn't give that virus chance to kick your butt back down again before you gave it another 1-2 punch.  I just chose a different path and gave up.., too many treatments for me, but some day, maybe, I may be back on the TX mode again.  Anyhow, my first clue when I had my relapse was the LFT's going up.  I was clear on my one week, after treatment viral load.  I had stopped for a week instead of getting my 12 week viral load. I completed the 12 week of TX. Took 1 week off and then, got my viral load and other labs.  So, that at that check, I was still Undetected.  On my 12 wk post treatment viral load, that's where I came back relapsed.  Prior to that though, I went to a walk-in lab as 8 wks off TX and got just my LFT's drawn.  My LFT's were elevated and that was my first clue-my first heads up, that I had possibly relapsed, because they had come down into the normal range when I was on the TX.  I am thinking that you will be UND from you June 1st viral load, because you are a true fighter!  Go get them girl!  Susan400

Good Lord! Of course this one is the one!  I kind of think we'll always be looking over our shoulder to check though? (As in regular testing for sustained non detected-- my test for that is in August.)

So, yayyyy you finished and you are undetected! Is this like S&O, when you have to wait for the suggested reality of undetected, 3 or 4 months out?

Congrats, now get that license back so you can fly down here and pick me up for a trip! :  )

Best wishes xx debe

I am only getting a viral load at week 4 post .

I can ask to do a LF profile I guess.

I remember last year when I relapsed on Sov/Oly first thing back was my elevated ALT AST tests followed a few days later the viral load 2.4 million.

Don't needs no replays

Lynn in the interim I would look at those AST/ALTs.  They have a lot of story's to tell.  Just "thinkin.." outside the box.
