Actually sounds like Fatty Liver Disease.
It appears that you may have cardiovascular disease based on the numbers provided. You are at risk for a stoke, heart attack etc.
Bad" cholesterol is the low-density lipoprotein (LDL), the major cholesterol carrier in the blood. High levels of these LDLs are associated with atherosclerosis. "Good" cholesterol is the high-density lipoprotein (HDL); a greater level of HDL--think of this as drain cleaner you pour in the sink--is thought to provide some protection against artery blockage.
The levels of HDL, LDL and total cholesterol are all indicators for atherosclerosis and heart attack risk. People who have a cholesterol level of 275 or greater (200 or less is desirable) are at significant risk for a heart attack.
AST & ALT:
Higher-than-normal levels of these liver enzymes should not be automatically equated with liver disease. They may mean liver problems or they may not. For example, elevations of these enzymes can occur with muscle damage. The interpretation of elevated AST and ALT levels depends upon the entire clinical evaluation of an individual, and so it is best done by physicians experienced in evaluating liver disease and muscle disease.
AST and ALT are elevated in people with cardiovascular, liver and muscle disease.
What can you do about this?
GET AN APPOINTMENT WITH YOUR DOCTOR ASAP.
This doesn't happen overnight. It takes years to develop. Your doctor hasn't mentioned this before?
Good luck.

Even though hepatitis c is a disease of the liver, we mostly discuss how the disease effects us, treatment options and so on. You would probably get better responses in the Liver Disorders Forum or the Gastroenterology Expert Forum.
