Has anybody else noticed?

I don't know if it is my computer, or my internet connection, or the fact that there are so many ads on this web site... but it is taking a lot longer to load the pages when I click "Back to forum" than it used to.

What do you think?

Diane

Hi Diane, I have DSL but like Bill I also use Firefox although without the AdBlocker Plus add-on and have not had any problems. I use the back button sometimes instead. Gonna try that add-on though Bill, thanks for the info. BTW Diane thanks for the email, time to post my 1st question here. Took me about 2 hours to, I think, get it right! Hopefully I'll paste it OK from the text file without screwing up. Good luck with your 'puter issue.

Hi Diane,

I’m on dial-up, and changed my browser from IE to Firefox a couple of years ago. If you go to Firefox, you can download an extension called ‘AdBlocker Plus that totally blocks all ads anywhere; then you no longer have to wait for them to load. It’s a pretty cool feature; plus, Firefox performs spell check for you too, anywhere you type! It’s a much better product in my opinion--

Bill
