San Francisco was busting out with pride, joy and partying
At last
Love wins!!!
Don't think I can post a photo her but I'll put one on my profile page of my hound, her doggies buddies in feather rainbow boas
It was such a memorable day
Harvey Milk's Birthday! Ireland!
so cool
Good to see you back. How are you? It's been a while. I should find out at any moment if I'm cured forever, as I'm waiting for the 12 week post treatment viral load results. If it's negative, celebration time...

I agree..., wasn't really overjoyed by the decision of the Supreme Court..., didn't displace any rainbows on Facebook. Sorry...
Finally! Never thought I would see this day
My granddaughter sit listening to this story told by my daughter's boy friend.
The story was this accident where he "claims" he died. And said, "When this happened I didn't see "the light". My granddaughter said, "That's because you went the other way".
Out of the mouths of babes
Psalm 8.2
Well now, as for telling kids about god: A mother will usually say "you'd better listen to your mother or god will punish you and make you burn in hell for eternity with pain, suffering, agony, forever" but at catechism class he's told...... god loves you....
Ah, the inhumanities of man done in the name of religion.
I'd be more concerned about the psychological damage done by telling a child that he will burn in hell in excruciating pain for all eternity with no hope of it to ever end if he doesn't comply with the christian bible...........
I don't know. The story about the big talking snake and don't eat the fruit would be confusing to a 4 year old. Adam loves Steve is a pretty good explanation. Thats about all a 4 year old needs. In fact, thats just about all anyone needs to know. Yes I would be careful what you say to a 4 year old. Might get you a free trip to the slammer.
The only thing I'm concerned about is how we're going to explain to young children that it was Adam and Eve, but now it's Adam and Steve. I just don't know how to explain that to a 4 year old. You?
BTW, did Oregon recognize the marriage, or will you have to renew your vows now, to be 'well and truly legal' there?
Thanks for that! Isn't it neat to find unity - in all its connotations?
I wore my rainbow wrist band at work I got an a gay pride event in the past.
My spouse and I have been together since 2003 and were married 2 years ago when Washington state approved gay marriage that year.
And facebook is practically bleeding rainbows lol

sorry, the comment box did not clear when I submitted it, and I thought it had not posted!
You could always hang a picture of a rainbow at your workplace in support! We have friends who just marriedin January, after the fL Supreme Court said it was illegal for CoCs not to issue marriage licenses. How womderful to have all this validated, as though love and marriage needs that kind of validation!

And just in time for the majority of the gay pride activities this weekend.
I can only imagine how joyous the events will be!
I would go but sadly I am working this weekend :-(
It's about time that they legalized same sex marriages. The government should stay out of our personal lives anyway. Love is love no matter same sex or not!

You can have the best answer for the
"50 Shades of Blue"
My husband hust showed something someone posted on facebook, showing a map of the U.S., all in a pretty shave of blue. The comment with it said something to the effect that:
'This map shows where it is legal for gays to marry'
and someone commented, 'Isn't it nice to see one solid color on a map?'
Heartwarming! : -)
