Three Months POST TX GOOD NEWS AND BAD NEWS

Hi All:

Well, got my three months post EOT labs back.

Good news?

PCR is still negative.

Bad news?
It looks like I am developing some sort of autoimmune disorder post tx.  Initially doc thought it was rheumatoid arthritis, but that is negative, however i now have a positive ANA and my C reactive protein is rising.  They are thinking an interferon related type of lupus.  Took some more blood tests and put me on a couple of meds.

I'll keep you posted.

Congrats on finishing TX and being UND and reaching SVR!!!!!!!!!!!

So sorry to hear about your now new health issues that developed from TX.  That scares me as well.  There is no one I can really discuss it with becuz they think I am thinking negatively and it won't happen to me, etc.  But the truth is it can and may.

Hang in there and stay positive.  You conquered the worst of it!

Peace and Love,

Hang in there Deb --- I'm having aches and pains too - they're thinking Fibro -- but I'm not willing to say THAT it WILL stay...

I'm willing to say - I'm healing slowly - but not that I'm going to stay this way. LOL!

I don't think they believe that these are sides from the INF -- combo therapy -- but I'll go through a little pain to live with my liver working - so I guess life is going to be amusing.

I'm hoping  that yours will equal out --- and eventually dissappear.

OK?

I'm gonna think lotsa positive thoughts for you.

Hugs,

Meki
