An Israeli compnay has completed clinical tirals with BL-8020 that targets the host cell and notht evirus. Another one to look out for in the race for all oral no interferon cure.

Look under Bioline Rx's ( BLRX) BL-8020 . It was sent to me from clinical pipeline. Sounds interesting , another one added to the race.

Well maybe, maybe not, when I first joined here there was alot of hype on telaprevir, then VX950. It was also fast tracked then, people, some doctors were swearing it would be here by 2007 and at the latest 2008. Well guess what. It was mid 2011 before it was here...... The point is nobody knows they are only wishing and guessing.

Should note that was in 2005, 6 years later it made it. I wonder how many peoples livers were shot or even worse by waiting

I agree with you there, hopefully due to the shorter tx time we see it late 2014-2015 one good thing  about this is  that  there are others running the race  with promising results , and that makes the future much more positive and brings us closer to the end of interferon and a  all oral cure .
