Hey Deb, I don't know how long to take it, as I have only been on it 2 weeks, but it is Vitamin C, so, for as long as it takes I guess. Can't hurt. Got mine from Trader Joe's. I do know after I take my Xarelto in the evening it gets worse, and when the house is quieter. The doctor said diabetes will make it worse by the way. I am hoping once the dental Sx, and  post Tx Sx are farther in the past, the ears will improve. As long as it doesn't get worse.

Going to the store and buy some of the Lipo, it's in pill form right?  How long do I need to take it?
Thx Sandi

I LOVE the exchanges!  Make me laugh and cheers up my whole day.

Thanks!

Deb, I 'echo' what advice has been given!  Seriously, the soft backgrounf noise, staying hydrated , and not thinking/concentrating on it work. nMy brother has a little 'noise maching' forwant of a better word(s?).  When he turns it on it emits sounds of a breeze blowing.  My brother-in-law used to use a CD with the sound of waves hitting the shore.   (Neither of them have hepc nor ever had it).

Me, TV show, or soft instrumental music work, but over the years, I have gotten good at ignoring it. hee hee.

Best to all --- and stay warm!  What a winter?

Pat

Take a look at my thread on the post Tx forum, I am right in the middle of it right now. Just had my hearing tested today, and have hearing loss in the upper range now, not real bad, but the buzzing is annoying. It started 1 week into Tx, so culprits are Interferon/Ribavirin & Xarelto (which pushed it into the really annoying range), plus I had dental work done in December for post Tx issues, where my dentist grazed a nerve, so the whole face/ears thing is a total mess at the moment. Audiology wants to see in 6 months. Hopefully things will improve once I am 1 year EOT (May of this year). The Vitamin C w Lipo Flavinoids seems to be helping. Can't hear my husband when he is in the other room (is that a good thing or bad? Ha ha!)

Play background music.  Drink lots of water.  Try to keep your mind busy.  Mine goes away when I do these things and comes back if I think to hard about the ringing.  Stop thinking about  it.  : )
