I am speechless. That was beautiful!
You know a lot about a lot. And really, I use to have the feeling that you fell into the job of teaching music and it wasn't what you had planned on doing. So I didn't expect you to really KNOW anything about it:)
Have you ever been to St. Louis, Phoenix Az, Disneyworld, Disneyland, San Antonio or Biloxi MS? If so we might have met. I'm the short one in red and black with the little black wings.
Hugs,
Bug
how ya doing?
if i didn't know SOMETHING about music after all these years . . .
hey, saw your post to proactive - i'll bet those guys were going to that motorcycle fest. but i don't think pro was riding with the pack i saw - too far away . . .
although i am close to a lot of ski areas now.
hey, maybe we've met?

Hey, Hepmax Prison Blues! by all means, I would like to here it put to music. It was put together rather spontaneously as with most of what I have posted.
Hey, as long as that tree is falling behind me, I will never hear it.
Geterdone
WoW. I'm so impressed by anyone with that much talent, and able to play on tx too! It didn't look easy as I could never put that much breath into an instrument without passing out.
Wyn: You sound very educated girl! I keep learning new things about you. You can talk the talk with Cruel.
I'm so glad you shared the music, I like Kewel better than cruel.
Bug
Loved it! You're very talented. I want to hear some more.
midi used to be that bad but not anymore.
my extra riba dosing must be working, i feel like hell these last few days
but ive been exercising still and it helps. have doc appnt this week, will update then. dig your sax out, youll see how much tx takes it out of you when you try to play. but it will help you. hopr your feelin good, my fog has been high lately
so im not to chatty, ill catch up later. bye
Loved that alto trumpet - knew it couldn't be baroque coz of the valves but the size confused me. interesting that it plays french horn range.
the little 1876 cornet had a great sound, too.
looks like you've got quite a collection of instruments. all brass?
i haven't played in quite a while - after 20 years teaching music the inspiration sort of shrivels away, know what i mean?
although playing flute and soprano sax now would probably really help my health, all that oxygen getting into the system -
i do pick up tin whistle occasionally and play keyboards but i'm more into writing than music these days, especially since starting tx and going on medical leave from the job. 500 kids a week is just too much too handle.
what happened with your riba dosing? did you increase levels, yet?
wyntre
ps - i've read that learning midi takes more time (10,000 hours) than learning to fly a 747. *LOL* guess that's why i never got too far.
encore! encore! More More More!
just listened to the whole thing.
nice arrangment - yours?
also, what's the name of the second horn you were playing? is it some kind of baroque trumpet?
love that piece.
wyn
thanks for the compliments. throw me some love baby!
kit,
i left town to work and secured the vital air conditioning fund, my anxiety attacks can now cease! i think youve forgotten that we like to jump in the other side of the lake. you know, where all the rocks are. you go first!
full of hope,
i totally agree with a little more percussion.
renewed for another week in battle huh? that makes me feel good. thanks
i horn,
glad to see so many who live in a "relaxed organization setting" of piles
of stuff. single batchelor is my excuse! i am crazy about horns and ive
collected quite a few. the fun thing is i get to play them all. when i used to drink something like weller, it was covert as my rot gut friends would
have assasinated me for a bottle of that!
ladywhy,
so glad my song helped you got a little stress off your shoulders. get me up to speed on your progress.
goldyn,
glad you liked it. i dont know if atonement was my goal, but im glad it worked out that way. most of my past girlfriends complained of this very thing "too high maintenance", but somehow ive never had the slightest idea of what they are talking about. oh well i guess some things are just meant to be mysetries!
livindabest,
thanks, youre not another one who loves disorder, are you?
uh oh, this place is going down hill and fast!
wyntre,
there were several midis arrangemants floating on the internet and this is my
favorite one. ive worked on it some but not much. the little horn is a civil war
coronet 1876 (distinctive marching brass band sound), the long one is an
alto trumpet a fifth deeper than a regular trumpet. mostly used in brass bands in europe. it plays the french horn range. glad you liked it. can you still play
your flute on tx? its much harder for me. if you can, work us something up, we would love to hear it.
jools,
so glad you took the time to post. glad you liked it.
i havent had much practice switching horns and its harder than it looks
but it worked out.
geterdone,
glad you liked it, i am going to pickup hepmax prison again, im working on singing it, guaranteed for a laugh. maybe ill have it ready in a few weeks.
hey, a tree is falling on you
Erik Satie's First Gymonopodie.
One of my favorites.
I used to play it on flute.

Good to see ya back ! That was a cool Video. very good. thxs.
btw... Your puter room looks mine , minus da kine horns of course!
One Ques...: who Is Bill? (on other vids.)
Aloha, R.
That was really nice to hear, very calming...good way to atone for your high maintenance self.....hehhe
Thanks for that beautiful song...one of my all time favs( i walked down the aisle at my 1st wedding when i was 21 to that !)...you are very talented..i'm amazed that you can blow a horn while txing...very cool!!
all the best to you, and thanks again for sharing!
Blessings, Julie
Very cool and nice arrangement cruelworld. Will have to say we have some very cool talent here in heperville.
jasper
"Prayer for the Warriors" really touched me. It was quite beautiful. Thank you for sharing that with us. I got a little misty eyed...'could be sx ;)
You have quite a talent.
Yvonne
Pretty sweet. You sure do have a lot of horns, brother. Your studio looks a lot like my garage ....and my living room ....and my bedrooms. I don't have all those horns laying around but empty pop bottles and such. Is that a bottle of Weller on the table ?
I enjoyed that and must say that you are very talented... i play percussion and while it's fine without any percussion if i had the energy I would enjoy laying down a track of very 'light' percussion with a strategic 'click' here and there with a light cymbal. But must say that I'm impressed that you opened up your world for others to see and hear. Great job! I feel renewed for another week in the battle... (didn't miss a note as far as I could tell using both instruments) Onward and thanks again for sharing!
ha ha you go jump in a lake too snark snark :-)
Good to see your voice. How you bean ? wheredya go?
Got air conditioning?
Kit
