giving thanks

This time of year reminds us to focus on what we have to be thankful for.

I am grateful to be living  life, healthy and free of hep C, a transplant survivor for over 6 years now. I'm grateful for the people in my life, who care and who I care for~ the love of family and friends, and corny as it sounds, the kindness of strangers.

I'm thankful to live in a place of beauty, for the solidity of my home, for the garden that sustains me.

I'm thankful for learning loving kindness meditation~ turning my thoughts towards the well being of all sentient beings.

I'm grateful for the creative spirit, the muse that inspires, the ability to dance, paint, garden, cook with imagination and smile.

I'm thankful to have a mother who loves me unconditionally, who has lost many of her senses with old age yet, still maintains a good sense of humor. Thanks Ma !

And I am grateful to have learned to face my fears head on, to watch them disintegrate, which curiously happened only by facing my mortality during my close-to-death experience with hep C.

Now, it's your turn, what are you thankful/grateful for this season ????

What a beautiful way of expressing your thankfulness for blessings, and so good that you see those blessings!

I am also thankful for most all of those thing, except mine is for the wonderful memories I have of my Mother and Mother-in-Law. -- what awesome women they both were.  Also, no garden, but so truly grateful for the blessings of home, hearth, and enough of the necessities of life to know the joys.

Also SO GRATEFUL to have reached SVR this year.  I am so praying that that will happen for ALL who have Hep C, and other things too, whether they know they have it or not; praying for the day this dreadful virus is simply a report in the study of history of viruses and diseases.

Blessing, All, during this Thanksgiving season.

Your joy is contagious.  Thank you.  You are an inspiration and should be writing a book.  I love you and your journey.  Do you forget stuff?  I notice the child within will spring forth like a default setting and we do dance spontaneously.  I am grateful for reminders of the positive in life.

Hello ole friend, nice to see you're doing so well and still encouraging others.  Just popping in to say hi to a few friends during tx.  You were always an inspiration and continue to be.  I have my life back after SVR a few year back and all is going very well.  Of course, cycling a ton a miles now that I'm feeling great.  Best to everyone and wish you all SVR and a healthy life for 2016.
