pale girl :(
Has anyone tryed the self tannners or maybe spray tan to get through this sick pale looking phase of treatment. I realize why I look this way but doesnt make it any easier when you have people asking if you feel ok. I havent said anything to anyone at work and only my son and daughter and there spouses know about this. I feel like walking chemo girl. Oh did I mention in live in Florida.... :( 14 weeks under my belt as of Friday. 10 more to go!!!!! Maybe this should be on the social side not sure. Hope I dont sound too vane but dont like the "are you ok" attention. Yes I do wear make-up lip stick but starting to feel like Betty Davis. LOL!!! More is not always better.

@ OH, I can see the finish line almost smell and taste it. I was at the DR. yesterday and I told him the thing I miss most about this, isnt having a beer or a glass of wine NOT AT ALL its being outside and enjoying where I live. Stinks living like a vampire. LOL!!! Finish Line, here we come!!!!! Thanks for the input and I think I will try the self tanner maybe end up looking like the old lady in the movie "something about Mary" LOL!!! Thats my go to movie when I need a good laugh!!
I used the Jergens self tanner for almost all 72 weeks........not a ton of it to look 'tan tan' but so I would not look so sickly grey and pale. I dont know if anyone else noticed but it made me feel much better about coming to work...although actually a few people did start using it during the summer who I had told about it so it must have made a difference.
Just be careful not to put much on your ankles, elbows or knees the dry skin super ***** it in and you will get blotchy!

My concern would be the effect on your skin.
I've had to change to a different moisturizer and soap.
I'm sorry you don't feel able to say, " I'm taking some medication for a few weeks that has me looking a bit pale, but I'm okay."
And if they persist, say you'd rather not discuss it.
