Almost year after hernia surgery, still get occasional pain in testicle

I was operated on 6th May last year. I had small visible direct inguinal hernia on left side. It was only visible when I push it,and of size of 2 peanuts. But it was painful. Especially in my left testicle when I walk. Now, after surgery, I still get occasional pain in testicle in same way as before surgery. It only happens when I walk, or run, not when I sit or not even if I put pressure on hernia spot with pushing my stomach. Only when my legs are in movement. I told my surgeon about it, he told me it still might be that stitches are irritating my nerves. And told me to use painkillers and to let him know how it goes after a while. In few days its gonna be a year since I was operated and I still get this pain sensation. I usually can feel as it slowly get painful as I walk, and as more I walk, first I feel like dull almost not existing pain in place where I was operated, but slowly it gets more intense and my left testicle becomes painful on touch. But the thing is, its not always like this, most of days I feel either no pain, or some very mild not pain, but more like feel.. like I feel the place where they cut me. But sometimes, it just starts to hurt for some reason. And I need to stick back and wait little bit till pain goes away.
