Aches and twitching....Herpes???

On April 12th I had unprotected sex with someone I knew well. On April 17th I experienced aching, burning and tingling on my penis and scrotum that lasted about a week. My Dr. said it was jock itch and tested me for everything, with negative results.  In march she had an outbreak and she was told it was an ulcer so she didnt know. In May she had the bump again same location and it was swabbed and diagnosed as Herpes 2. Her blood test from March showed negative for everything as was I so we decided it was ok to have unprotected sex. We had unprotected sex about 5 times between April and May before we found out. I've never had any blisters, sores, or lesions but I do get achy in my mid back, left foot, left testicle, and my left bottom lip twitches sometimes. It's been 5 weeks past last exposure and these symptoms  still Come on and off. I was tested 2 weeks after last exposure still being negative (which was 6 weeks after symptoms actually began)....Question is, if Ive tested negative for HSV  1 & 2 in the past, would I only feel these symptoms or would I have had an outbreak by now? Are these even signs of herpes? Thanks in advance

Will do. I've seen people post new symptoms in different post so I didn't know. Do you have an answer for what I'm feeling now though?
