Am I at risk?

Hi all. As above.

I just had an encounter with a freelance masseuse. Here are the relevant information.

1) I noticed a red bump in the shape of a circle on the left side of her upper lip. It’s not along the lip itself but in between the nose and the lips. She told me it was probably a pimple and it was painful to the touch. There is no crust or anything. It resembles a small mosquito bite.

2) No direct sexual activity involved but she did kiss/lick/suck the following area: Nipples, left ear, neck, around the penis, balls, perineum, the V-shaped area around my nether regions (not sure how to describe this area). Her mouth did not touch my penis at all. The bump did not rub against me as well.

I understand that the herpes virus infects the nerve cells around that region. However, given that the bump was not along her lip, I was wondering if there was still a chance of catching anything from the kissing.

Therefore, given the following information, I would like to ask if I am at risk of contracting genital herpes (or herpes on other parts of my body)? I have had a blood test done before and I was tested negative for both HSV1 and HSV2 before.

Either way it has to be opened with access to the liquid

Hi Dave. Thanks for your reply but I don't get you. I thought getting herpes around the lips is common. What could possibly be my saving grace is that the redness was not joined to the lips.

I googled herpes images and early redness has always presented itself in odd patches and not a round circle. I'm just hoping that it's a blind pimple and not pre-cold sores redness.

Hi, i would not be concerned that her bump was herpes as they need to be open sores where the clear fluids get rubbed into an area also that area is not a common place for herpes to appear.
