my hsv 1 n 2 results r out

I have been tested for hsv 1 n 2 igm n igg after 4 weeks n five days from exposure. The results r as under.
1.  Hsv 1 igm - 0.34
2.  Hsv 1 igg - 9.6 equivocal
3.  Hsv 2 igm - 0.32
4.  Hsv 2 igg - 0.14

I have some queries plz reply.

1)  I hv a problem with my eye lids open during sleep which causes dryness in my eyes n when I get up in midnight I feel friction in rotating my eye ball. I have done  a blunder as around within a week or so after the sexual exposure n I was unaware or hsv I got up in the mid night with my eyes almost dried. Out of lazyness to see the time I took my saliva n spread in my eyeballs to lubricate. That time I had no sores in my mouth n not yet I found ne sore or blister in my mouth. What r my chances of getting my eyes infected im really worried.

2)     My second question is although I went for testing 4 weeks n 5 days after exposure so my hsv 1 igg is showing 9.6 equivocal what r my chances to get a negative value after 12 weeks. Are there ne inctances where people get negative after 12 weeks while they got equivocals results after 4 weeks of exposure.

3)    I m married n have a daughter so what precautions should I take to prevent spread.

4)     Also till now I hv not shown ne symptoms except chillies around my mouth n nose n that too what I had food.so I at all I get n outbreak how would I deal with it. I would in a factory with high temperatures so generally perspires n sweat on face how to manage the condition.

5)   When I dont get an outbreak can I kiss my wife n daughter. If I kiss on their cheeks will it spread.
       I m really feeling to cry coz I love my wife n daughter n cant resist without kissing such a delima.

6)    Ok. Can I put band aids or cover my blister during outbreak just to prevent them to spread.

7)     How many outbreaks can I expect from hsv 1 in a year n in 5 years also r there ne instances where people do not ever show ne signs of herpes blister.

8)     Because I work in hot condition so does herpes virus triggers in hot conditions given n outbreak as it gives n outbreak when in sunlight for long.

Herpes is not in saliva but travels up the nerve to your eye.

Though you said that herpes is not in saliva but I got contact with saliva from the guy I was intimate. Or u mean to say that herpes spread from saliva when theres an active sore. As when I had no active sore or rash the time I spread my saliva over my eye balls to lubricate. So my chances for acquiring herpes in eyes is negative. Plz reply.

Your risk was so low that its highly unlikely you contracted it. Most at risk for contracting herpes are in long term mono relationships where one partner is infected.
Herpes is not in saliva and those with eye herpes got it from the virus traveling up the facial nerve so forget the saliva and your test show you dont have herpes.

I did not understand about when u wrote ( was there a risk for contracting from u last affair ?yes there was .is it likely u contracted herpese from ur last affair? No it is not.) Can u explain clearly.
      Also r u sure when I show equivocal for hsv 1 n I had applied saliva in my eyes without knowing it can make me blind. Would the saliva without the sore in mouth can really cause hsv 1 to spread in my eyes. I m really scared as I hv already spoiled my profession cause cant work with hsv its against the medical standards n now m about to spoil my eyes. Plz reply

It would really appear  you dont have hsv1 from childhood as your still negative but test at the 8 week mark to confirm this. Most at risk for contracting hsv are in long term mono relationships where one partner is infected. The protected anal is no risk since the condom could prevent skin contact. Same with the rimming as saliva contains digestive enzimes that kill things, and if he did not have any lip sores at the time, you can pretty much rule out herpes.
Was there a risk for contracting herpes from you last affair? Yes their was. Is it likely you contracted herpes from your last affair? No it is not.

Since your married with children test for Syphilis at the 6 week mark and herpes at the 3 months mark. This is not for your concern as your risk catagory is close to zero but is for your familes protection.

  My hsv 1 is 0.96 index no  n since it comes between 0.90 n 1.01 its equivocal rest hsv2 is 0.14 which is less than 0.90 index no so its negative.these test r done by elisa . This is all I found on the report.

2)   regarding sexual exposure so I must tell u im a bisexual n had received protected anal sex.  But received unprotected oral n deep kissing n rimmed too. I know I hv no chances but as of now I hv hsv 1 equivocal which I assume positive.


3)   if I hv hsv 1 then it can also be genital one or oral. So I need to know what r the chances of no. Of outbreaks with hsv1 orally n gegenitally.

4)    if I do unprotected veginal sex with my wife will she get infected with hsv1 genitally n if I dont do ne kissing  then will she get lessions on mouth.

5)   I work in confined place thats in a machine room though its not exposed to sun but temperature there is around 45 degrees does even high temp. triggers outbreak.

6) if I get sweat on my blisters n if these sweat fall on other body parts is there a chance of spreading the disease on my other body parts

7)  what precautions should I take to prevent the spread of hsv 1 with on n off breakout.

If really getting confused though I have not shown any occurance but should be prepared for that. So plz help me out but giving reply.

Hi, first of all you need to post the numbers invovled that show whats positive and what negative. You mention hsv1 is 9.6 and equivical means its not positive so find the numbers. At 4 weeks its not likely any antibodies would show up and 8 weeks is most often a good indicator.
If you do have hsv1 oral then see the below.
1. not spread that way.
2. depends on what was your exposure.
3. depends what kind of sex you had would determine what kind of sexual disease you were exposed to.
4. we dont know if you postive yet
5. with no outbreak its ok to kiss
6. dont cover them
7. with hsv1 oral. maybe none maybe 2 or 3.
8. sunlight has been shown to trigger outbreaks
don ask more questions till you advise your sexual exposure and list the positive numbers on the test you took
