Atypical herpes fear?

Over the last month and a half I have been experiencing an increasing number of out of the ordinary symptoms on my penis.  I've noticed one or two very small bumps on my glans develop, that don't look significantly different in a sense from other normal 'bumps' that have always been there, but are certainly new.  This is in tandem with an increased sensitivity on my penis head and undefinably 'strange' feeling, especially after masturbation/ejaculation.  There is also a red spottiness that comes and goes if I manipulate the head of my penis, which was not previously the case.  I noticed a strange puffiness of the skin on the head of my penis, especially around the urethra (not for sure, but possibly noticed this most often after urinating or ejaculating).  There was also one instance earlier this month when I had little cuts on my penis (right under the head, where my hand tends to come in contact with it), but have no idea whether I caused those myself or not.  They healed within a couple of days.

I had felt NO itchiness or burning until recently, when for the past few days I've felt SOME thing, almost like a tingling or irritation (but not painful?) that almost seems to emanate from inside my penis (as if from the urethra, but it's difficult to describe).  I don't have dysuria in the sense that it's really painful when I urinate or anything, but that's the closest thing I can think of to describe it.  I have had no classic herpes blisters, and no rashes or anything quite like that.  The puffiness or redness I would experience comes and goes within hours, or at least a day.

The last time I had sex was mid December, and the most significant symptoms I'm mentioning have only developed within the past week or two.  I'm honestly at a loss.  SOMETHING is up, and I know herpes can have atypical symptoms so that's my main fear.  I'm guessing it could possibly also be a fungal infection or bactiral/uti thing?  Does anyone have any ideas?  I've been tested negative for STDs (excepting herpes, as I have had no lesions and the clinic did not do blood tests).  I would appreciate any help at all

forgot to mention you need to wait 4 months after the last time you had sex though to get the herpes igg blood testing done.

this sounds more like something non-herpes related. You need to continue to follow up on it with your provider if you have concerns.

If the clinic you go to doesn't do herpes igg blood tests, find one that will. If you are in the US you can get tested thru www.tstd.org and www.healthcheckusa.com.  Both are reputible places to arrange testing thru.
