Herpes from oral sex?

A few weeks ago I received unprotected oral sex from a stranger. She said she was clean but I can't grantee it. It lasted for about 2 minutes and I did not ejaculate in her mouth. She also put her mouth on my testicles for a short time. I have read a lot about hsv 1 and hsv 2 and don't really know know if I could get that from receiving oral. A few days later I was freaking out and itching and I don't know if it had to do with my paranoia because I was always thinking about my genital area. The itching was on my testicles and days later I shaved my pubes and the itchiness went away a little as well as some paranoia. I also have a small pink rectangle color at the base of my penis. I'm hoping it's from shaving. There's no bump or fluid and there's three hairs growing out of it. The last couple weeks I've been alright. There is not much itching and no bumps or anything like that. So how often is herpes spread from receiving oral? What do my chances look like? Anything helps

So you think I might be good? I know people can go without symptoms though. Looking at your previous reply I thought I might have it because of being sick and the swollen lymph nodes? I haven't checked fever yet and I still don't know if I already have hsv 1 because I know I'd be immune to it.

This has absolutely nothing to do with hsv. And you are correct about contracting hsv on the testicles. The slin is thick and covered in hair two things the virus has a very hard time penetrating.

For an update, it's been 3 months and a few days since my incident. There have not been any bumps or anything visible that resembles herpes. I do have an itchy scrotum every once in a while and I have been shaving that area with a razor every few weeks. Before my incident, it wasn't uncommon for that area to itch. Also no other area itches. I also heard that outbreaks don't occur on the scrotum but I could be wrong. 3 weeks ago I was sick with a sore throat and a headache. I don't recall if I was really tired. I went and got checked out and I didn't have strep or anything and also no swollen lymph nodes.  It lasted 3-4 days. Currently I'm sick and the back of my mouth (tonsil area) is sore/uncomfortable. Nothing in the throat. My lymph node on one side might be swollen but idk. Where do I stand? Is it possible I have genital hsv 1 and didn't have a breakout? Would it be oral hsv 1? If it is oral hsv 1 I wouldn't mind, considering 80% of the population has it.

Thank you so much! It really means a lot
No problem. I know first hand that anxiety can wreak havoc. Reading the internet misinfo makes it worse. Logic goes by the wayside and emotion takes over. Again you have nothing to worry about from this exposure!!
Have a great weekend

I will try to help. First off chanes of contracting any std from a single exposure is very low. Receptive oral sex is even lower, way lowe. Hsv2 is very rare as an oral infection and sheds rarely as well. Hsv1 would be far more common with more than half the adults having it orally.
That being said lets look at the facts. If she did not have an active cold sore (which im sure she didn't as it would be painful and she wouldn't want to preform oral sex on you) then the chances are near zero. Next fact is if you did get hsv1( which you didn't) it would be evident by now in nearly all instancea. A newly acquired hsv1 genital infection would have a very classic outbreak. Painfull lesions with fever swollen lymph nodes and aches. You would have experienced this by now in most cases
Now to the statistics. Most people at risk are in long time relationships where one person has it and one doesn't.  One time exposure like yours it's like less than 1-1000 chance.

All the evidence points to the fact you did not contract hsv from this exposure.
