Can I accept the results?

I have had a total of 4 tests for herpes.
2 tests my doctors consider positive and  2 negative. Posting my test results below.

On July 19, I was tested for herpes.
IGG
Type1-.07
Type2- .08
IGM-1.11 (positive)
Diagonsised for a recent infection- given 1000mg Valtrex

2nd retest July 31
Type1 <.01
Type2- .06
IGM- 1.26 (positive)
Taking 500mg valtrex@2nd test

3rd. Retest September 1
IGG
Type 1- <.01
Type 2- .06
IGM- .78 (negative)
Suppressive therapy all of August.
500mg of Valtrax.  Ended Valtrex after negative result. Doctor refused to retest me again.

Found out i’m Pregnant. ( 9 weeks tomorrow)
Changed doctors.

Retested on 12/6
IGG-
Type 1 <.01
Type 2 .09
IGM .78 (negative)

I’ve been worried and depressed about this for months.  Especially, when I found out I was pregnant and the diagnosis has been up in the air.
I’ve read enough to know not to trust the IGM results.  However, it hard when you have two doctors telling you that regardless of the result, you have been exposed.

Can I safely conclude that I don’t have herpes?
Has enough time passed with being off of valtrex?

Yes, you don't have hsv. Unfortunately your Dr's are not up to date on hsv or it's testing. This isn't uncommon. No one should be given an igm test. Even the CDC is against the igm due to the high probability of a false positive. Move on from your Dr's mistake and don't look back. You are fine

Thank you!  I have been trying to completely ignore the IGM based on what i’ve Read and focus only the IGG numbers.    The positive IGM has certainly caused me a lot of heartache.   When I asked my initial doctor if this could be a false positive , she told me that she had never seen anyone that was negative that had a positive IGM.  Although this contradictory to what I had read.  In addition, she told me the valtrex would not have any effect on my IGG numbers.

It’s just mind boggling to me that these doctors don’t know more, and they treat patients for this.
I know they have other patients with Genital herpes, because I asked and heard stories.

Again, thank you for your reaponse.
Your story is so common. I understand Dr's have bigger things to worry about than hsv. That being said, the misinformation given by more than just a few Dr's is mind blowing.
More and more labs are dropping tbe igm test from the menu.
