Can a Frenulum Tear lead to Herpes ?

A little about my self, Im a 22 year old man. Basically still a kid. When I was 18 i had my first bacterial case. I was prescript an ointment to fight my bacteria. It healed in less than 2 weeks. Through out this 4 years Ive been having a on and off case of my bacteria, but didnt think much of it since i would simply use the ointment and itll go away. That wasnt until 3 weeks ago when i had unprotected sex , which was very dry and rough. After we finished i cleaned up and applied the same ointment. [ PS I WOULD GET NEW OINTMENT EVERY DOCTOR VISIT] Thats when I noticed a Tear on my Frenulum. The next day I masturbated. i dont use lotion cause it feels better for me. Anyways. After i finished it felt painful. Didnt think much of it so i showered and used my anti bacterial soap. The next day, I went to the restroom and pulled my skin back and made a bigger tear on my frenulum. Which lead to bleeding. I was scared so my first reaction was to clean it up and wash it with the soap and applied some of the ointment. Two days after i was at work and noticed in the restroom that i had a sore or something similar to one, right where the tear happen. So two days ago i went to the doctors and explained to him what happen, he suggested a test for any STD. I did some research and the sore that i had lead me to believe that i had Syphilis. So i was prescript an ointment. When i apply it seems to hurt, or even if my urine or water seems to come in contact with the sores. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN WHAT MAY BE HAPPENING.

Okay first, what kind of bacteria did they think you had at 18? What kind of ointment did they give you that you applied?

Most recently, what is the name of the ointment?

When you were tested for STDs, did they do a urine and a blood test? Did they do any kind of testing of the sore?

You don't mention any kind of sexual activity, so I don't know what risk you've had.
