Can hsv 1 be easily spread by accident from my cold sore to my genitals?

I have a cold sore,, I ate a brownie, my gf stole a bite of the brownie, then I later received oral sex from her, and I hope I didn't give myself hsv 1 genital herpes. Is it that easily spread? Should I only worry if I show symptoms in the future?

Herpes isn't spread like this - from you to an object to someone else then from that person to another part of you.

First, that's way too much movement with air and time. Second, you have antibodies for hsv1 which protects you from getting it again in another location.

Herpes is spread primarily through direct skin to skin contact. For hsv1 orally, it's kissing. For genital hsv1, it's oral sex. It can be spread by sharing cups, eating utensils, etc., but not food, and it's far more likely with kissing than objects.
