Common Theme of Symptoms, No Blisters

Exposure: Unprotected oral, protected vaginal, I had a significant cut on my penis from shaving however this part was covered by the condom

1 week later - Burning topical pain on lower back, lower spine pain, buttocks pain, groin pain, whole body tingling and one small non-painful but itchy pimple at the top middle of my buttocks. I've never had these pains or sensations in my life. No blisters or rashes just a single tiny pimple.

I had prostatitis and was on a fluoroquinolone antibiotic for three weeks after this exposure related to the prostatitis and attributed my symptoms as a side effect however many here report the same symptoms after exposure so I'm not sure.

3 weeks later - Negative Captiva IGG HSV-2

6 weeks later - Negative Captiva IGG HSV-2

I plan on testing at 9, 12 and 16 weeks with Herpselect.

I have HSV-1 but tested negative for HSV-2 just a few weeks before this exposure.

1. Could a non-primary initial HSV-2 present this way with all of these symptoms but no blisters on the penis?
2. Could I have been infected with HSV-1 genitally via oral?
3. Why are so many here reporting the same neurological and pain oriented symptoms post exposure?

I'm relocating back home to the UK later this year and would like to put this to rest before I leave since I won't have access to low cost on demand diagnostics available here in the U.S..

Note that most people on here that report pains and sensations around the body do not have herpes. For those that do often another ailment is involved.

If you have had HSV1 since your youth then it is most unlikely that you would contract it genitally.

To your questions.
1. This would be pretty rare. It is more common to get blisters or in your case with HSV1, no symptoms at all as the antibodies cross react somewhat with the other virus type.
2. This would be an extremely unlikely event and symptoms are likely to be absent if you were due to your immune response.
3. Yes people report similar pains but it is telling that many don't have herpes at all indicating a separate ailment giving rise to the symptoms to people with or without herpes. Of course there are people with herpes who report neurological pains but they are the minority of infected people.

Hi, your have mixed symptoms. Tingling is prodrome of someone who already has herpes and is used as a tool to prodict coming outbreaks. Body aches are often a symptom of primary. So one or both could not be related to herpes. Testing at 6 weeks would be an indictor but testing for both hsv1 and 2 is important.
1.  see above.
2.yes but if she did not have a lip sore the risk would be low.
3. Googling
