Could These Be Herpes Symptoms?

Hey there, I am a 20 year old male who had sex unprotected about 7 weeks ago. The day was Sep. 13th or 12th. We both gave each other oral too but the sex only lasted about 15-20 mins as we both were low on time and had to be somewhere. We both did not get to finish as far as orgasms go either...

A few days ago, my cousin (who knew she and I had sex) told me about a rumour he had heard about the same female that she had an STD or Herpes, I wasn't too sure about which specification but I believe he said herpes.
Right after hearing this news I started to wonder obsessively on whether it could be true or not and whether I could have contracted anything from her. Prior to hearing this news I felt fine like the usual me. Nothing different at all. Only thing that makes me wonder is that right after I dropped her off that same day we had sex was that I felt like I had "blue balls" (my testicles were tense). I was guessing this was because I didn't get to release my sexual tension. So I masturbated later that day and the feeling went right away.

But back to the present now, as I said, once I heard this news of the rumour, I started to have anxiety issues obsessing over the possibility that I may have Herpes or some other STD. The day after hearing the news (about Nov 2nd) I started to get diarrhoea and lower back pains and felt fatigued and just wanted to sleep. I felt itching around my groin area and started to feel fain lower abdominal pain about 2 days later. Then about 4 days ago I noticed a small red sore like pimple in the back of my mouth (right exactly above my uvula in the dead center of my soft palate) It was red around it and the head of it was white-ish yellow. It did not hurt nor did it burst. It disappeared just yesterday so it lasted only about 3 days. Now my testicles have a slight soreness and my lower back still has pains and I feel sort of pain around my bladder area and the tip of my penis head had little sensations, rarely painful. When I urinate (which is kind of often now) it never burns or has any pain. My lymph nodes were in pain about 2 days ago though but that only lasted for one day, they weren't swollen, just in pain but not badly (the ones under my arm pits, the ones in my neck were for about 2 days). That pain went away and now I only have the itching around my groin area and the internal sort of painful but not painful sensations. I feel tingling too. I haven't seen any sores or lesions at all.

Also, I have had lower groin and abdominal pain before when I was a virgin and lower back pains. I have talked to her about the rumour and she said she hasn't seen any symptoms and she doesn't think she has anything. Please, this has been killing me mentally. I wanna know if these could be possible symptoms of Herpes or any other infection. I haven't been able to get tested as yet either and I don't know when I'll be able to to either as money is kind of low right now. I'm guessing I'll be able to get the tests some time in December.

Thanks.

This is true but the lower back pains have been around for about 2 weeks now and I feem itching in around the same smots usually and I have now noticed a redness (2 spots) at the tip of my penis. They are around the opening hole and at times they appear to be bumps but then other times they appear to not be there. This is worrying and kind of confusing. And my lymph nodes have been in pain again but not badly, just itching on my under arms and a bit of soreness. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what these symptoms could be? They just strike me as Herpes.

Note that I do mean that you are searching for symptoms to align to herpes rather than what they more likely are, another virus, cold or flu etc.

It is good of her to get tested and if she fully shares results then you'll have some additional information.

He said he heard the rumour from another girl who was around her same age. And now when I talk to her about the issue it seems like she's hiding something from me and that she's nervous herself. She said she will go and get a test done.

And yes I wonder if it's in my head but at the same time the lymph node pains weren't. That was really not imaginary pain and research has said lymph node pain could be a sign of a viral infection. They still have slight pains now but not like the first times it happened a few days ago.

I don't think your cousin is doing you any favors here. How would he know if she had genital herpes or not? If she doesn't know, how would anyone?

There is nothing you describe that would be indicative of a herpes infection. The location, nature and timing of the symptoms simply just do not align with herpes.

I think at this point it is best to assume that your imagination is getting the best of you, stop focusing on your genital area and enjoy life.
