Couple Pubic area spots

1.5 days ago, possibly 2 days ago.  I felt a slight slight discomfort about an inch away to the left from the base of my penis on my pubic area.  When i checked i noticed a slightly raised red bump.  I ended up trimming with an electric trimmer to get a better look.  It inflamed and caused more redness a bit from me squeezing it.  There was no white pus, just a teeny tiny bit of watery fluid and then even less amt of blood (maybe it was something that didn't have time to form white pus yet?).  there appeared to be a little tiny hair in the middle.  It was very small and thin compared to normal pubic hair if that was the case.  however, today, The swelling has went down immensely as I've refrained myself from squeezing or plucking hairs around it. and now all that is left is red/brownish area (no blister looking anything) with minor peeling skin in the shape of circle around the area.  Doesn't hurt to touch.

Also, one week ago.  At the pubic area at the base of my penis there was a pimple looking thing i could feel and see beneath all the hair.  I popped it and white/white-yellowish pus came out.  Then anything visible was gone in 2 days.

Does this sound like herpes?

If I plucked and squeezed at the pimple looking lesion is it possible for it to leave a scab and cause minor pain?  I'm noticing other minor pimples smaller in size but look to be with hair follicles. Is this just from my recent trim you think?

From what you describe, yes none suggest herpes but a blood test would confirm this.

Thanks for the quick reply Life360.  Much appreciated.  In regards to the oral herpes part.  I notice i get little small white head pin point pimples on the edge of my lips.  I pop them usually and they go away and aren't entirely visible within 1-2 days.  Does that sounds like a case of oral herpes?

I've never noticed any cluster style blister/pimple looking things since the encounter i had.  is it safe to say I'm symptom free from any herpes descriptions?

Thanks again.

None of what you mention suggests herpes as they most often spread in a cluster type grouping once opened. If your sexually active maybe have a blood test to confirm if you have herpes. Many have oral hsv1 that can be passed to someones genital area by giving oral sex
