Do I have genital herpes???

Greetings,

I'm posting again because I can't seem to get any clarity, even from my Gp.
About 5 weeks and 1day ago I had a sexual encounter with a CSW from south africa(african female), she perfomred unprotected oral sex on me and we then engaged in protected vaginal sex which lasted for about 30mins.
My fear is that I may have contracted genital herpes considering skin-to-skin contact is all it takes,
4 weeks after exposure I had 2 tiny red pimples on my waist line, right at the top of my pubic hair(in line with where my pubic hair would start to grow going down from my belly.
After consulting with my gp he prescribed a cream, some acyclovir cream I think, after a week those red pimples have disappeared, prior to consulting with my doctor, I went to another Gp and he precribed a 7 day course of acycolvir .

1.My question is could those pimples be herpes?
2.I also have penis pain and kind of a sharp pain on the skin of my shaft(for maybe more than 2weeks now)
I feel the sharp pain/itch when my penis touched my boxers,Could this be due to herpes infection?

I constantly check my genitals for any pimples or bumps but find nothing thus, only those 2 red pimples I mentioned
Any help would be appreciated, many thanks

Dont start antivirals unless you are confirmed positive and are having recurrent outbreaks. Testing at 8 weeks would be a good indicator

No I have not, I did and IgG herpeselect blood test for HSV type 1 and 2 at 18 days after exposure (negative for both) and 1month after-again negative for both

But were you diagnosed with herpes with a blood test or swab?

Thank you for your response Life360, apologies for asking another question after so many days(I had internet difficulties)

I wish to ask, I have been prescribed acylcovir by 2 different doctors.. At 1st I didn't know what the meds were and then when I went to the second GP it clicked that I was given the same medication with the same specific doses.
So I started the 7day course-finished it and the started another course 2days after, for another 7days( 1st course was taken 22days after possible exposure and the 2nd course, 1month after herpes exposure).. With that said, would the medication slow down the initial genital outbreak?

Can I expect a breakout one and a half months after exposure?

If medication was taken like I took them, would that cause a minor outbreak?

Thank You in advance.

1. yes but not not likely. Herpes are not red bumps but herpes sores heal in about 2 weeks
2. penis pain is not a herpes symptom, only if it were inside your urethra it may be herpes related but would not go away.
