Do I have herpes despite getting negative results for both HSV 1 and HSV 2?

Good evening. About 3 weeks ago I had unprotected intercourse with my partner. Both of us were tested before and according to the results we do not have any STDs. After the intercourse I took the morning after pill because I was afraid to get pregnant. However, 3 days after the intercourse I started to have smelly white discharge and my vagina started to feel itchy. 2 days later I noticed a bump and the following days I started to bleed because of the morning after pill. I did not feel sore before. However, after wearing the pads I started to feel excruciating pain all the time, even when urinating. I went to the gynecologist and she suspected to be herpes, but the results were negative. Finally, she diagnosed me with bacterial vaginosis. I followed a 7 days treatment, which was performed at the hospital. After the treatment, I was tested again and herpes and bv were both negative. However, a week after the treatment I started to feel itchy again. One day I had a headache all day which couldn't go away even with medicine. The second day I started to have the white discharge again. The opening of my vagina started to get red and I noticed a bump which later turned to a blister. Now I have some chapped skin in that area but I do not feel burning when urinating. I also noticed some small white bumps near my anus. Could it be herpes or it is all caused by bv. If I wear pads it feels worse. The medicine I have been taking for the bv treatment are azithromycin and ornidazole.

This really doesn't sound like hsv.

Did you both get tested for hsv? A lot of std testing doesn't include herpes.

It could be many things. This is one of those cases that does not sound like classic herpes. However, if you ever suspect hsv then get any lesion swabbed and type specific tested. At this point I would go back and have everything checked again.
