Do i have oral herpes?

Hi,

Yesterday on my lips, i noticed about 4 very small ulcers and 2 of them are just reddish in color without any openings on my lips. they are wide spread on my lips and appear very small in size. Abnormalities that i have discovered is minor muscle ache on my arms no tingling, pain on my mouth and lips area before that.

Today, i noticed that one more small ulcer developed too on my lips area.

Can i know is this related to oral herpes?

Its not conclusive but since 8 weeks is a good indicator, testing at 7 i would be confident your negative.

Hi i have one more question.

Is HSV-1 and HSV-2 iGG AB tests at week 7 post exposure accurate?

I've got HSV-1 as 0.3 and HSV-2 as 0.2.

You have tested negative for HSV, this is not oral herpes.

Hi,

Thanks fleet for your reply. i'm quite worried because the top ulcer looks like there are 4 small bilsters together. The others are just a small red spot formed without any openings, looking like an early sign of an ulcer.

Very, very unlikely to be related to herpes. Tiny and spread out does not align with a typical primary or recurrent outbreak.

the four ulcers are on the middle top slightly hidden, both left and right sides and middle bottom of my lips
