Does Genital Herpes behave this way?

I'm uncircumcised and lately I've noticed that my foreskin feels tight and itchy. Today I noticed tiny red cracks all around my penis leading up to the tip of the foreskin. I know the symptoms might be itchiness but the tightness and cracks, does HSV2 behave this way?

That's probably not herpes. It could be balanitis.

If it's not the head of your penis that is dry and cracked, it might be a fungal infection like yeast, an allergic reaction to something, drying skin from certain soaps, eczema, or a bunch of other things -

You should let your doctor check it out. It's really unlikely to be an STD.
