Does this sound like herpes?

About 2.5 weeks after having relations with someone I developed 3 tiny red bumps that went away in 2 days in my genital area.  There was no pain and they went away after swimming in the ocean.

After that I started to read up on the symptoms and started to feel a slight random itch and at times aND a tingle that people speak of.  They are rarely in the same spot but they are freaking me out.  I have already went in for my blood work and and just looking for some insight.  I also at started to feel slight I'll but I can't tell if it's because I'm stressing myself out or I actually have something.

My tempature has been below 99 as I have been checking.

It's been over 3 weeks know and no crazy sores.

Any insight on my symptoms?

Will the lesions or bumps always hurt?  I have a small one on my lip that has been there for a few days but is really small and doesn't hurt. Looks like a really small zit with a tiny redness in it.

Thanks

Hsv can present in many ways but usually lesions will follow the other symptoms. Most always.

Thanks for the info I greatly appreciate it.  Will there always be a breakout with a day or two after the itchy tingling feeling?

Will the lesions always hurt and be noticeable compared to there bumps and marks?

The genitals are full of nerves and sensations happen very frequently. Everyone gets tingles from time to time. We usually don't notice or pay attention because it's normal. You said it yourself. When your busy you don't notice but when you concentrate it's there. It's there because it has always been. Hsv symptoms won't be that easy to ignore. I think you are over reacting and when you relax everything will be normal.

Herpes lesions do not go away in a day or two. So what you describe does not sound like hsv.

I don't think I have the lesions but I do feel a tingle but I can't figure out if it's in my head or not.  I don't feel the tingle when I'm busy doing things but when I stop it randomly comes and goes in different areas?  Does that sound like it?

Can you have the tingle and itch for a long period of time without lesions I've been feeling like this for a week with nothing?  The only thing I have is a little dot on my lip that has been there for a few days but doesn't hurt.

Thanks for the help

Hey!

The best way to know is to contact your partner and ask when the last time they were tested.

It can be up to 4-12 weeks before HSV can give an accurate blood test for "positive"

Unless you went to the doctor and had a swap there would be no way to know.

My recommendation is set up a doctor appointment to get yourself tested.

I just got myself tested waiting in thr results buys it's only been 3 weeks.

Will it ever just make your skin red and dry then flake a little?

Thanks for the help?
