Equivocal HSV-1 Results

Today I received equivocal results on my HSV-1 tests.  I scored .95, .90 was negative.  All other STDs were negative including HSV-2 at .09.  My only partner since early February has been tested and is negative.  What is the likelihood this is a false positive and how should I proceed to confirm?  Also, what precautions should I take to make sure she does not get it in the meantime if I am really positive?

Thanks for your time.

Theres nothing that fools the test, these are random numbers generated by testing procedures that fall into the positive or negative range.

Thanks for your response.

Do you know what are some of the things that can make the test results appear higher?  I've been reading that other things can fool the test into being positive, but haven't found anyone saying what those things are.

Hi if you tested 3 months from any exposure its amost certain its a false positiveI believe under 1.2 is negative, but check with your testing company on the negative range. If you do have oral hsv1, just be careful kissing when your having a lip sore or any lip tingling.
