BIG WHOLE MESS WITH COLD SORES AND HERPES

This is one whole big mess. My boyfriend had a cold sore. We kissed and I performed oral sex on him. A few days later his cold sore was healing and he performed oral sex on me. I then begun to have bumps near my vaginal lips 2 days later. I only had 3 very small ones. I thought they were pimples. Until I irritated one and it became a sore. I then had a feeling that I must have caught the HSV so I went to the doctors and I got medication for it and my test result doesn't come back until 2 weeks. The day after my doctors appt. my boyfriend calls me, saying, that he now has 2 nickel size sores near the head of his penis. Could he have gotten HSV? And why so late? What is going on?! This all happened within less than a week.

This seems like a prime example of genital HSV1. It's important to know what type you have though.

Did your boyfriend conduct a swab or blood test? If he had a cold sore, typically that is HSV1 and by having him perform oral with an active sore (healing or not), he transmitted the virus to your genitals.

There is no such thing as the body fighting off the virus. He most likely has an established oral HSV1 infection and you both share the same virus albeit different locations.

A blood test at 12 weeks on your end would help specify what type you have. I would consider this.

I got my results. I do have herpes. I came out positive. It isn't say what type though? I was given this medication CTI 1200 I think that's what it is. It went away completely within a few days. My boyfriend have 2 bumps on his penis and he made it go away on it's own within 3 days. He went to the doctor and they said that his body found a way to fight the virus. It was strange. His test results comes in a week

It is possible that you have genital HSV1, three small bumps hardly seems like a primary infection though. Let's see what testing reveals.

Your boyfriend is most unlikely to become infected genitally with HSV1 given the established oral infection.

Have you tested for negative for HSV1 and HSV2 previously?
