Feeling slight burn? Herpes?

So in February, 4 months ago I had one sexual encounter with a friend, we exchanged oral and there was skin to skin contact. No penetration. I got waxed that same day and didn't expect to see him that night. He said he everything was clear last time he got tested. The following week I got a touch up wax and the lady did a rushed job, and the week filling my second wax, I had little bumps everywhere she waxed (but also where we had skin to skin contact). I got tested for all the basic stuff which came back negative but not herpes.

The bumps went away without any oozing or anything and they were never painful. However, recently my friend had an std scare and it triggered me and I started worrying again, when I examined myself I saw two flesh colored bumps on each side of my groin. I immediately panicked thinking it could've been HSV. There's no oozing or crust or open sores, it's closed bumps it looks like what I've seen before and I also have some (I assume) hair bumps on my pubic mound which is usual for me...

As far as where the tingling comes in, for about a month straight I've been usin tend skin twice a day bc I'm prone to ingrown hairs, no moisturizer, kind of hard soap on my entire body including my genital area, exfoliating the area daily, and dry body brushing it. And since the discovery of the two (four total) bumps, I've been feeling a light burning or raw sensation, but I've been checking them constantly and twisting and grabbing my skin to see everything.

A part of me thinks this is just all a coincidence and bad timing and my recent treatment of my genital skin is causing that feeling....but I'm also very anxious. My friend said he's getting tested this weekend and will text me the results. I'm really scared, what does this sound like to you all??

The main thing scaring me is everything on the internet I see about how most people don't even know they have it and could be symptomless. But do these "symptoms" sound like an std??

This surely sounds mor like aggravated skin and hair follicles than hsv or any std for that matter

Hi, so the burning/rawness isn't there anymore and today I did some moist heat where there were a lot of bumps and they almost immediately started going down...I just have one tender spot from where I scratched a bump...this is a good sign right? It's just irritated skin??

Oh and I put tend skin on the bumps I found yesterday and they've seem to have gone down a little bit but I decided today I'm going to stop using it for a while because I think it's making my skin raw.

Oh and another thing I was tweezing and picking and scratching at the bumps trying to see if they would burst or hair would come out, also I put a Aztec clay and apple cider vinegar mask on my whole bikini area overnight.....so I've definitely been overdoing it with my skin...
Did you ever get the results back from your friend?  Any change in the bumps and the burning feeling?
