french kissing and oral sex

planning to have oral sex and french kiss an escort that I know. The escort seems healthy and there are no signs of cold sores.
What is the risk of contracting oral herpes and/or genital herpes under these conditions.

I have read that herpes can be spread by an infected person anytime although the risks are high only when there are visible signs of sores.

Please read those T&Cs on the back of your hall pass and initial them.

Per episode, kissing someone who has an oral HSV1 infection but absolutely no sores or feelings like they might be coming on, then it is low risk, maybe 1/1000 or that sort of magnitude. In this circumstance maybe you could ask whether this potential partner has ever had cold sores.

The risk is similar or lower for receiving oral sex, if you take the minimal risk from kissing, I see no reason not to add oral sex. The chance is extremely low of her having an oral HSV2 infection in the first place and actually transmitting it through a shedding event. If her lower half stays covered up, there is no practical risk of HSV2.

I do not have herpes or any STD.I am married for 28 years.
Just thinking of having a hall pass.

I enjoy kissing.
Once there are no visible cold sores you are saying that ' with a lot of french kissing there is no risk or very minimal risk of HSV1'.

I will abstain from oral sex for fear of HSV2.

Are you sure you dont have oral HSV1 already? If you've ever had cold sores then you have thus particular virus already and there is no chance of additional infection orally and minimal chance genitally.

If you are kissing and receiving oral only, then the risk of HSV1 infection is probably no different to any particular partner given the commonality of the virus. The risk is extremely low per episode in the absence of sores.

You may have to assume that there is a greater than average chance this partner would have genital HSV2. Protected vaginal sex would carry also a small risk of infection.
