What is the risk of Herpes Simplex Virus 2 (Genital Herpes) from a one-time exposure

I confessed to my family that I've been having sex with escorts for four years after last night's encounter.

Like many other men whose seen an escort, I visited one last night. The sex was protected. Right before ejaculation, I noticed increased sensation, so I stopped to see if the condom broke. By this time, my penis is partially inside the vagina. I withdrew carefully. It didn't break but it slipped half way up my penis. The upper part of the penis shaft and head were still covered.

I was a bit uneasy to say the least.

From this scenario:

What are my chances of contracting HSV-2 or genital warts from a one-time exposure with an escort?

I agree with your last statement. Your protected encounter is such a low risk it doesn't warrant much concern

The odds of catching anything from a one time exposure is low.
Quite often when the condom slips, you are not really exposed as bad as you might think. Often you will go in an out of the condom as you enter and withdraw.
A completely unprotected Intercourse with a known positive partner where there are no lesions present has about a 1 in a 1000 chance of passing the virus.
Odds are in your favor.

Hpv is hard to judge and there simply isn't a great deal studied or known about it. Every sexually active person has most assuredly had at least one strain of hpv. Still your odds of contracting it from a one time exposure is low.

Thanks for the reassurance. The escort was squeezing during intercourse that's what made it slip. So as I was pulling back I felt the slide and withdrew.

Maybe I'm worrying too much.
