Herpes? Or nothing??

Hello I'm a 19f and I noticed something felt different down there, not really itchy or tender just feel a little irritated. I felt by my vaginal opening and I feel very tiny bumps that kinda make a ring around it, all grouped kinda in a line. My discharge is a little off only smells a little dofferent.  You can't tell they're there by just looking at it, but I can see them when I zoom in on a picture. The bumps have been there for about 4-5 days and they do not seem to be changing in any way. I do have hsv 1 on the lips and scared I might of spread it to myself?? These bumps do not hurt when I touch them. Recently before this happened I used a tiny bit of bar soap down there and I think im just irritated from it? Usually I don't use anything but water but I wanted to make sure I was more fresh that day. I know sometimes you don't show symptoms of herpes but usually in a actual outbreak you do don't you? I have only ever had a constant bf of 3 yrs and I'm pretty sure I didnt get it from him. Keep in mind if I did have herpes it would be hsv1. What do you think it would be? After 4-5 days of having these bumps I think I would be showing more irritation/change in the bumps if they were herpes? I think I might be just irritated from the soap. The first day I noticed the bumps I was a little red nothing weird, but on the second day I wasn't red and haven't been swollen at all through the whole thing. What could this be?

If you already have oral hsv1, you have antibodies that protect you from getting it in a different place on your body, so this wouldn't be hsv1, especially from you infecting yourself.

It could easily be soap irritation or an allergic reaction to it. If you shave, maybe it's shaving irritation. It doesn't sound like herpes, but you could get it checked if you are concerned.

Are you and your bf sexually active? Are you his only partner ever? If you aren't, has he ever been tested for STDs?

It's super smart that all you usually use is water. The vagina is self-cleaning, with a really delicate balance of things that keep it all clean. You really only need to use water and maybe a washcloth to clean the exterior.

Since it's lingered for several days now, it might be wise to get it checked to make sure everything is okay. These spots might be totally normal - we have oil glands all over the vagina, and you may have noticed them because of the irritation from soap, but at least you'd know. :)
