HERPES ANTIBODIES

I recently tested positive for Herpes 1 and 2 and was told by my phy that I had the antbodies what does that mean

I can best help you if you can get your actual herpes test results to post here - ie hsv1 igg 4.4 and hsv2 igg .23  or whatever they are. that way we can see if you were tested properly and if you need additional testing to confirm your results.

This means that you have both HSV1 and HSV2.

HSV1 usually effects your mouth
HSV2 usually effects your genitals

But either or can effect both.
