HSV2 mouth or genitals

I was just wondering if there is a test to determine if the HSV2 I tested positive for is in my mouth or in my genitals? I have not seen any lesions in either spot. If I had to guess, it would be in my genitals.

I did the HSV1 IGG Type specific AB 5.91 Then they ran
HSV2 IGG inhibition, Elisa Positive

I think that is all the information. Thanks.

HSV dosnot prefer the oral area and having antibodies would help this from happening bottom line.

I was also wondering, if it is genital, and I give oral to someone who has HSV2, can I still get it in my mouth, or are antibodies in place to resist it?

odds are your hsv2 is genital.

what testing did you have done? if you post your actual test results, someone can help you more to make sure you don't need additional confirmatory testing done or not.
