Herpes 2?? I'm so lost

I was engaged to be married and long story short my fiance cheated on me and got HSV 2. About 2.5 months ago I felt a burning sensation on my penis and scrotum. She was overly concerned but I thought I was jock it. She recently was diagnosed with herpes 2 through a culture swab but her blood from May test came back negative.  She decided to tell me because I was having issues down there and I guess it got to her. We are no longer together due to the trust thing. We always had unprotected sex and maybe 15 times over the last 2 months. I have had no blisters and bumps, I just had that itching, sweating, and burning back in April 2015. Lately I've been having extra drops after I urinate for like 2 to 3 minutes  and the tip of my penis has been sore and burns inside at times. 2 weeks ago I was checked for ALL STDs which came back negative, the Dr. gave me Cipro for the burn. It seems to be working. Her test showed negative for everything minus herpes 2. I showed negative for 1 & 2. Is there a chance that I didn't catch this from her. It's really stressing me out. We never used condoms you know we were together since HS and supposed to be getting married in 2 months from now. This is a major blow all around....I cant even think straight...please HELP

The only thing I have now is burning on my scrotum  once in a while it's not consistent and excess dripping after urinating....the urologist checked and said everything appears to be fine and all my tests were negative. He advised that I get tested again for HSV after 8 weeks or so after last exposure for it to be conclusive but he said he's almost certain that it would be negative...since I've tested negative for HSV 1 & 2 do you think I would have had a standard outbreak by now? Also would my test at 8 to 10 weeks be conclusive since I showed negative for both in the past? I heard that if you never had either one if shows up in your blood test fasterm but I'm not sure if that's true.

July 17th marks 8 weeks from last possible exposure. If that comes back negative too, should I consider that conclusive  I just left the urologist and he says yes because I've had no rashes or lesions but Im hearing 4 months as well from blogs on the internet. This whole thing is baffling...please offer suggestions

Does the same go for type 2  or do people generally have symptoms by now? I read alot about being Asymptomatic, but is that rare? Sorry to be such a bother. I will get retested but I'm trying to see what my chances are in not being infected by her.

Thanks for your response. I've been reading alot and since I've been paying close attention to my gentital area do you think I would have noticed something by now? ALSO is it true that most people have it but do not know or does that go for HSV 1. She said she is 100% sure she didn't have anyone sores then but did the following week. So I'm just waiting which is causing a great deal of anxiety.

Hi, your symptoms are not suggestive of herpes and your risk of contracting it when she did not have any vaginal sore would be close to zero. Those most at risk are in long term monogomous relationships where one partner is infected.
