Herpes 2

Had unprotected sex July 1 was my last encounter all std and hiv rna came out negative hsv1 was positive which I already knew hsv2 came back at hsv 2 1.5 igg showing positive results did another testing showed my levels went down to 1.18 igg before this encounter the last time I had sex was June 10 would igm be able to pin point when I was exposed to the virus no outbreaks no lesions no symptoms he also prescribed me acyclovir telling me I was only exposed but I don’t have the actual virus because I have no outbreaks never had outbreaks if the igm comes back positive could it be from my last encounter from July 1 do I actually have the herpes 2 virus without outbreaks or just the virus itself since I also have hsv1 can I pass this on my partner was to have intercourse but I’m afraid of adding it to him and we haven’t used condoms in 2 years please help

Don't do the igm test they're unreliable. Do an igg test at 6 weeks. 70% of ppl will test positive but this time and 12 weeks for definitive results. Your numbers for hsv2 are low and if it was an igm test i would ignore them entirely. I've read hsv1 can affect the hsv2 numbers so likely is a false positive
