Familiar with genital herpes

I am not sure I have genital herpes. I am scared to go to the doctor. Is there a white discharge affliated with Genital Herpes?

Discharge from where? Typically no, there's no "discharge". Herpes usually has blisters that can burst clear/yellowish fluid and is yellow when it crusts over

A discharge from my vagina. I do get yeast infections quite a bit but I also just got off my period. I'm so scared I have GH.
Is there a reason you are scared? One encounter or several?
Yearly transmission rates from male to female in couples where a partner is infected and have sex 2 times a week is around 10% if protected with condom that is reduced by 1/2 add anti viral meds and that is reduced again by 1/2 So unless you were in a long time relationship with somebody who has General herpes I would not be too concerned
Vaginal discharge is not typical for genital herpes. But it could be another std or yeast infection as you indicated. Being scared is not a good reason to not see your dr. It's best to go get treatment
I'm scared to find out the answer on whether or not I have GH. I have been married for 9 years, never cheated and i dont think my husband has but I do know it can lay dormant for years. I could have gotten it prior to being married. I do have HSV1. Have had it my whole life.
Also, I get yeast infections quite a bit in the last year. I tested negative for a few STDS in February after my annual. Doctor also said I looked great down there. But I've had 2 situations where I get what looks like cold sores, near my anus. I do have hemorrhoids really bad as well.
You're just gonna need to swallow your fears an go see a dr when you're experiencing symptoms. Else you'll live your life in anxiety
