Herpes or just an abrasion?

So, basically I had sex with this girl 4 days ago on Sunday. We had protected vaginal sex, unprotected oral sex and engaged in mutual masturbation quite a few times. Now, that night I masturbated again, and I felt a pain on my penis like a chaffing pain because it was taking quite a while. After finishing I noticed a small cut or something on my penis, a little under the head. It closed up pretty quickly and has not been painful at all since then. Roughly the next day I started getting sick. I've heard that getting symptoms such as sore throat, the chills, stuff like that, can be indicative of getting herpes. Now, the girl claims to be clean, and she also got sick around the same time. And I was drinking all weekend so I can imagine that it would have been pretty easy for me to get sick anyway. And the sickness seemed not to just be symptoms but like actually me getting sick, but I have no idea. The little scab on my penis just worries me. I'm feeling a bit better today, and I never noticed a blister or secretions or trouble urinating or anything, just the little cut, and then a scab, the same night as the sex. Maybe it's just wishful thinking, but it didn't seem like herpes to me. Anyone have any ideas though? Does this sound like herpes? Or just like an abrasion from masturbating? I'm just nervous. Any input would help.

Ok thanks a lot. Most likely it seems I have to just take it easy with masturbation for a little while.

Still to early, minimum 2 days and most often up to 13. The virus needs to mulitly on the skin, travel to the spine and then work its way back up to the surface. it takes time

It was much later that night, mind you. Like we had sex in the early afternoon and I noticed at like midnight. But still, thank you. That is fairly reassuring.

Hi, if the sore developed that night it would not be herpes related. And a sore dosent  develop so much before the body aches but after.
