Herpes or just infected follicles

Hi ,

ik have a question , i'm a man of 21 years old and i'm worrying about wether or not i could have herpes.
Last week i discovered some sores or something that looks like it.
Now i had some unsafe(3 times)  sex , but it was like 5 or 6 months ago...

Now these sores are not grouped(i have like 6 around my whole pubic area) at all like it should be with herpes and it also doesn't itch or hurts.
I also have a girlfriend now , who i have been sleeping for the past 10 months(we first didn't had a relationship so i also slept with other girls) and she doesn't has anything..
Also when you have herpes , normally what i read is that the symptoms appear in about a week after you caught it..

So what do you think? Could it be herpes or is it just some infected follicles

you shouldn't be having sex at this point until the skin is back to normal, no matter what the cause.

odds are this isn't herpes going on. you'd be having a recurrence at this point and recurrences tend not to reoccur like this.

go and be seen and get this looked at. odds are it's a bacterial skin infection, fungal infection or a folliculitis going on. if you shave your pubic hair, don't do so until the skin is completely healed.
