Could I have herpes? Please reply.

A Woman was giving me a hand-job and when I was about to cum, she finished me off with her mouth. A about a week later, my urethra started burning.  This continued.  I went to the Doctor and he ran a urinalysis and GC test.  Nothing was found. He put me on Cypro for 14 days and no relief. It's been 56 days since exposure and I'm starting to feel better, like the infection is clearing.  I've had some chills and headache over this time. I never really noticed blisters. I saw one small bump at the entrance of the urethra but it wiped off.  The Woman does have Herpes 1 & 2 - I found out for 35 years but never has breakouts and has been on some type of medication to prevent/reduce breakouts and transmission. My Doctor doesn't think I got Herpes from this bad behavior but what else could it be?  Prior to this event, I've been negative for all STD's, including Herpes 1 so I'm pretty bummed if I contracted something with a lifetime guarantee.

Thanks Spectac3000.  I posted the same question twice with values. The first time I posted it, I logged in an hour later and did see my posting to reposted. Then later, both showed up.
I searched to Web for IGG values and did find a scale. I wanted to call the testing place but I did an anonymous test and if you call with a blocked number, the call won't go through - go figure. So I posted here. But reading other posts, I think you may be correct. Looks like .90 - 1.09 is questionable and < .90 is likely negative. I may not have waited long enough to be tested, 58 days. But values are pretty low. I didn't get the HIV test. Hope this taught me a lesson. Some of us seem Guys lose all of our brains/senses in certain situations. We have 2 heads, and one between our legs overrides the other.

Most herpes results have the scale on them. Majority of results read anything less than .9 is negative, anything above 1.10 is positive. I would think you're in the clear if your scale values are like most.

I got my test results back and my HSV1 IGG is .27 and my HSV2 IGG is .21.  The  lab report doesn't say if positive or negative?  It just says certified results.

I got my test results today and it doesn't say if I'm positive or negative?  I was tested for HSV1 and HSV2 after bad behavior.
My IGG for HSV1 is .27 type specific AG.
My IGG for HSV2 is .21 type specific AG.

Only thing is says is "Report status is FINAL and certified".

I went to walk-in Clinic to get tested for HSV1 & 2 on Monday of this week. Cost $40 for anonymous testing. They said I won't have any results for a week. Test wasn't western blot but IGG. OW, no answer until 2015. :-(

My concern is no bacteria was found in testing. And UTI infection isn't clearing. My PCP Doctor is out for a month plus now with an aortic valve replacement so I may need to seek medical help elsewhere? I did call the Dr. office and the Clinician told me herpes never lasts this many weeks so it must be something else. Hope he's right.

Hi, if she did not have any lip sores at the time the risk you contracted herpes from a one time brief affair would be close zero. Most often urethra irritations like you describe are often called a UTI as bacteria common in saliva are not common inside the urethra.
