Herpes test positive result query

I had a STD check and found HSV 1&2 (ELISA Method) values by igg method is 1.9 & 1.8 respectively,igM values are negative.

I did earlier test on Dec 12th, it said  { IgG = 1:100 IgM = N E G A T I V O } for both HSV 1 & 2.

my last test on Feb 4th ,is the one i mentioned in the previous post ( igg 1.9 & igg 1.8 , igM negative ) for both HSV 1 & 2.

i dont have any symptoms. ( can someone tell me any obvious symptoms to clarify ).

i consulted with online doctor and he suggested values more than 3.5 are to be concerned. He suggested repeat test after 3-4 weeks.
1) Can I do a confirmatory test by western blot method or any other test before 3-4 weeks ?

2) Do i need to start suppressive medicine now ?. Especially, i dont want to transmit to partner even if i am low-positive.

Just want to know for sure so that i can plan my life taking medicines.

I would do the western blot. Make sure you do it 12-16 weeks from last exposure though.
I surely would not consider meds until you know what's really going on. The western blot will sort that out for you.
