I stayed at a nice hotel I spryed lysol on the bathroom doorknob. Agreed. If it were this easy to catch, everyone would have it. You get herpes from skin to skin contact, not door knobs. The lysol may have helped you prevent getting the flu or a cold, but it won't do a thing to help you prevent STDs. Those actually require sexual contact with another person.
