I'm living with Herpes

I've gone for an std test twice and both times, I have come up positive to herpes. What are the symptoms and health risks I'll likely face in the future (including those of blood relatives due to my condition)?

I can best help you if you get a copy of your std results and post them here for me to look at - e.g. hsv1 igg 4.3 and hsv2 igg 3.3 or whatever they are. That way I can be sure that you were properly tested and also see if you need any additional confirmatory testing done.

the free herpes handbook at www.westoverheights.com is a terrific resource to learn more about herpes too if you haven't read it yet.

what testing did you have done?  are you positive for hsv1 or hsv2?

genital herpes is only a risk to people you are having sex with. it's not an issue for routine day to day contact with others.
