HSV2 Test comparision

Hi,
I want to know what are the different between the two test?
HSV2 Elisa Euroimmun
HSV2 Roche Cobas immunoassay
Are they basically the same?
If I have already tested with HSV2 Elisa Euroimmun(a positive 43.5ru/ml. less than 16 is negative. 16 to 22 is borderline. greater than 22 is positive), and would like a retest after 10weeks is HSV2 Roche Cobas immunoassay a good choice? and is 10weeks enough after the possible exposure.

They are essentially very similar tests.

I would think about going again with the Euroimmun. Your value is low positive with most testing over 70 if truly positive.

The immunoassay I believe will not give values, just a positive/negative and will be subject to similar false positive issues except you'll have no value to judge.

You need to wait until 12 weeks post exposure for best results.
