Is it herpes? Please help.

It's Saturday night right now. Last Sunday I started having a lot of sex w/ my bf who has been away on business in Europe. We have really rough sex 3 days in a row at least 2x a day. I'm pre-menstrual so I was a little dry.

By Wed. my vagina was pretty sore (esp my perineum which became VERY swollen--he missed my vagina a couple times upon re-entry, sorry to be graphic).  I got my period on Wed morning so we stopped our sexual activity then.

On Thursday (day) I started feeling feverish (note - he was starting to feel a little sick himself on Wed night). Sore throat, headache and lower back pain was most notable symptom for me.

Thursday night I noticed a bump on the left side of my labia majora while showering. Bump is a little smaller in diameter than a pencil eraser tip . It looks like a blister. It's a single bump with white inside (note - I DID have my very first brazilian bikini wax 3 days before we started having sex again).

By Friday my whole vagina was very very sore. Hurts to wipe, sit and shower. Aside from the very sore single blister, I noticed some small abrasions on the upper left side of my labia major on the border, and my swollen perineum has 2 nasty fissures now which really really hurt. Friday morning, 3am I spiked a fever of 101.6.

How do I NOT have herpes?! I'm hoping it's all coincidence.  I'm getting checked on Monday, but any feedback is very welcome. I'm devastated. I've never had an STD in my life and now I have this forever.

My fever is pretty much gone now but I'm still coughing. I'm hoping my fever is just the flu and unrelated to herpes and that the problems with my vagina are related to the brazilian wax and rough sex w/out sufficient lube. Hoping hoping hoping.

Is it possible to get a blister from rough sex?

Im definitely in a lot of pain. In the beginning, I never had more than the one bump that looked like a small blister. It was very firm when I first noticed it, I though it was a zit.

It did not look like it was fluid filled. It's not a bump anymore, it's just a raised, round sort of open sore now.

Hopefully the test will be accurate. I noticed all this mess last Thursday night and it doesn't feel like it's getting any better. What looked like several simple abrasions on Thursday now look like flat, round, open sores. They were never raised blisters, but they are def. distinguished and round sores.

I'm just assuming I have herpes. If I don't, it will be a very nice surprise.

Hi, with all the rough sex its really hard to comment is this  a herpes breakout. I will say that the usual herpes sores are a blister like with clear liquid that appear in groups and a first time breakout in the vaginal area can be quite painful. Also the fever and body aches are also a symptom of a first time contraction but the lower back ache could be from the sex itself

The best test in your case is to have a sore swabbed and cultured but this needs to be done within 48 hours after appearing to be accurate. Other than that would be a blood test igg herpes select with the Elsa or immunoblot but these will only confirm your status and not say where you have it.

Definitely get checked because it is better to be safe than sorry when it comes to your health, but the blister/bump could be an infected hair follicle.  It really does sound like you both came down with something, potentially him giving it to you since he got sick first, and that you are sore and harmed from the rough sex.
