Is this is a sign of an OB???

I was diagnosed Po. for HSV 2 in Oct. During my first OB I also had 2 bumps on the other side of my pelvis from where the small cluster and ulcers were located.

I am not on any supressive therapy yet, but I am currently taking amino acids about 2,000 mg a day; and trying to stay away from caffine.

Well I have a bump again pretty close to the same location where the two previously excisted, It kind-of-sorda looks like when you get an ingrown hair, but yet pimple like with no head, just a pump but under your skin. I can feel it is pretty large, maybe the size of a pee. It does itch but very mildly and is sentive to the touch.

Is this is a sign of an OB?

The first ob takes the longest to run its course and depending how long into things you started the medication, depends on how useful it was. I'm just too busy today to go search for your prior posts to review them to remind me what your situation was.  Be sure to ask to testing for yeast and bacterial infections vaginally at your appointment in december too to make sure that nothing like that is further complicating things. Make them test for bacteria, sometimes bv doesn't present with obvious signs but it's a known factor in causing hsv2 to be more active though certainly a 2nd ob within a few months of the first is also very common too.  Sometimes it's not so easy to sort it all out.

Thanks for your prompt response to my post...

During my first OB I was prescribed ACYCLOVIR 400mg 2 caps 3x a day and it did nothing for me. I do have a doc's appointment in Dec couldnt get anything sooner than that. wish me luck

and thanks again.

I would assume it is until proven otherwise.  See your doctor if you aren't sure if it's a herpes recurrence or not.

Lysine really doesn't do much at all for herpes. If you really want to ward off recurrences then talk to your doctor about acyclovir, famvir or valtrex suppressively.
