Misdiagnosis HSV-1 Genital ?!?

I have a couple questions about my HSV-1 diagnosis..

1. How do I know if my infection is oral or genital? Being
That my primary doctor diagnosed me with oral hsv without
Even considering the symptoms I was having in my anal area.

2. How is it that she diagnosed me with oral hsv when sometimes
Have anal fissures I have groin pain as if the fissures are herpes related?.

3. If this is in fact oral hsv why would I develop bumps around my anus, along with
The groin pain, and this has never happened to me before.

4. The first time I developed the little bumps around my anus, a week before I felt like
I had a 24 hour flu, is that suggestive of herpes?? I had a lol flu symptoms except for fever.

5. Along with this fissure that keeps re-opening everytime I have a bowel movement, I have
A pinching and tingling feeling in dif spots within my buttocks, is that suggestive of herpes?

6. Isn't it wrong for my doctor to tell me that I absolutely do not have genital HSV-1, if she don't
Really know for sure? Because she never really seen the break outs I had . It's just not sitting
Well with me, and enabling me of having a sex life because I'm not sure.

Yes the primary outbreak would be where the virus entered the body.

I found a new bump this morning , it had sum whitish/ yellow puss and bled a lot , couldn't find any hairs in it so I'm thinkin it just may be herpes.

This morning I found a small bump on the outer part of my vaginal lip , it was filled with whitish/yellow puss, as soon as I touched it the puss came right out, then started bleeding continuously even after compressing it with a cotton ball.. Does this sound like herpes it doesn't hurt at all .. I'm really starting to think that this is the hsv1 I was diagnosed with 2 months ago.

I will never tell someone not to get something checked out by their physician. I will say that this does not sound like an hsv lesion at all.

Okay, I have one more question. As I was poking at it, the head on it burst quite easily and the puss was more of a liquidy white substance not thick or waxy feeling like an ingrown hair.. Is that normal for an ingrown hair?
and also the ingrown hair was not stuck inside the bump but actually growing out of the bump, is that normal?

If it was hsv there would not be a hair in the middle of it. Yes most likely it would cause you some pain

So this definitely does not warrant a visit to the doctor? It does not make me uncomfortable at all.. I'm just asking because I am sexually active.. Protected ofcourse.

Okay if it were hsv-1 there would be some kind of pain/itching right?

No. Thats an ingrown or agrivated hair follicle.  Not hsv. I agree with fleetwood and also think this is a long standing oral infection

Hey, this morning I noticed a a small bump on the inner lip of my vagina, it doesn't hurt at all.. And I didn't notice it until I was touching the area to clean. While poking at it I noticed a tiny bit of white stuff so I'm thinking there was a head on it.. I also noticed there was a pubic hair coming out the middle of it . It's kind of skin colored but turned a little red as I was picking at it. Could this at all be the HSV-1 that I was diagnosed with 2 months ago..??

I'm sorry for all the questions, I just rather positively know and not engage in sex with my partner, than not be sure and mistakingly infect him.

We have already answered all these questions for you.

You have an oral HSV1 infection from your youth.

You absolutely do not have genital herpes.

Your symptoms are not related to herpes, not remotely suggestive.

You can approach your sex life with confidence.

Hi FLEETWOOD20, I have one last question and this will end the thread. If one were to have genital HSV-1 via oral/vaginal sex, would the initial outbreak be at the point of entry (vagina), or could the first out break be any where in the boxer short area?? so basically I've never had any bumps or anything near my vagina area period, just only near the anus close to the butt crack area, and I've never had anal sex. Yet I only had bumps, stinging, tingling, burning in my anal area
